The new Fairfax Market, a neighborhood grocery store serving the eastside of Cleveland, Ohio, needed a new roofing system that would be aesthetically pleasing while ensuring efficiency, waterproofing, and protection for the 7-story building.

Warren Roofing® needed to install a fully adhered TPO roof system over tapered insulation. The new roof would be covered with a drainage mat and faux grass bordered by ballast.

The Challenge

A Compressed Schedule and Tough Site Conditions

This project required significant coordination with other trades working together on a congested construction site. Scheduling and long lead times for materials were an issue, particularly as our material deliveries needed to be scheduled on-time to avoid conflicts with other trades. The roof was also 7-stories high, which meant dealing with high winds and slippery conditions.

The Process

High-Quality Commercial Roof Installation

We successfully completed the installation of the new TPO roof system. We installed the faux grass in the courtyard of the market for tenants to enjoy sunshine with their pets during the nicer weather. Warren Roofing® worked in tandem with other trades, ensuring clear communication and coordination was always prioritized.
