Strategic Planning and Precise Execution
The roofing project at The Country Club began with careful planning to minimize disruptions to the client’s operations. The first step involved the careful removal of the old BUR system, which was done using cranes to hoist debris off the multiple roof levels. This was a crucial part of the process as the varying roof heights and tight access points posed unique logistical challenges. After the tear-off was completed, the team focused on repairing the underlying substrates and addressing any structural issues. The crew then installed high-performance insulation to ensure optimal energy efficiency and a stable foundation for the new roof.
Next, the team proceeded with the installation of the TPO roofing membrane, which was mechanically fastened and heat-welded to ensure a seamless, watertight roofing system. This process not only enhanced the durability and weather resistance of the roof but also improved drainage, making the entire structure more energy-efficient. A critical part of the project involved the custom copper work above the bay windows. The standing seam copper panels were carefully crafted and installed to maintain the architectural integrity of the building, ensuring the new roof would blend harmoniously with the facility’s existing design.
Throughout the process, Warren Roofing® coordinated with mechanical contractors to accommodate rooftop HVAC units and made sure the work did not interfere with other building systems. The final stages included a thorough inspection and walkthrough with the client to ensure all aspects of the project met the highest standards of quality. The result was a fully functional and aesthetically pleasing roof that would provide long-term protection and enhance the building’s curb appeal.
