When Craftsmanship Shines
Scaffold was erected on roofs that required replacement, so proper sequencing with soffit replacement was essential to keeping the project on schedule. We utilized an 80’ scaffold stair tower to access the highest roof elevation and lowered debris with a 80’ hydraulic hoist. Staging new material required the use of a 110 ton crane. We installed perimeter fall protection at the onset of the project and maintained it throughout the project.
T-clear pavers were installed to protect the roof membrane, so many roofing details have been hidden. With a nod to sustainability, we reused existing concrete pavers within the new system, providing an enhanced perimeter ballast. The building shape consists of radiused walls, creating challenges with cutting concrete pavers, fabricating metal coping, and flashing walls with membrane. These challenges created opportunities for our craftsmen to highlight their experience and skills to get the job done.
